Every year the second weekend in September

From the beginning of June until the beginning of September the young Lipizzaner colts enjoy their supper sjourn in the mountains at a sea height of 1.500 metres. Coming down from the alpine meadows is traditionally the start of 'serious life' for the Lipizzaner stallions.

The day of coming home is celebrated by many visitors! More than 40 stallions will be wellcomed at about 1:30 pm in the city of Köflach. Experience the unique time when the horses come down from the alpine pastures and accompany them down into the valley from the meadows and celebrate.
