The market town of Seckau is situated on the southern slope of the Niedere Tauern, on a plateau between 800 and 1000m above sea level. It shines with its extensive and varied tourism offer.

No matter what time of year, spring, summer, autumn or winter ... the market town of Seckau is always worth a visit! Seckau is a market town with 1.301 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2020) in the Murtal district of Styria. The municipality is considered a tourist destination and is especially known for its Benedictine abbey. As a former Styrian episcopal see, Seckau is also one of the two namesakes of today's diocese of Graz-Seckau.
